Comment Exchange, Do They Read Your Post Before They Comment?

One of its problems is, some Comment Exchange participants don't even read what you've posted. They'll just base their comments on the title of your post and you will eventually end up with an out-of-topic or an off-topic comment.

Jeremy Lin Getting Traded, Again?

Howard To Houston

With Dwight Howard signing with Houston Rockets, the possibility of Jeremy Lin getting traded to another team is very high because Houston will need the cap space. Is this good or bad for Jeremy? It's good because Jeremy might get traded to a team that will use him properly. It's bad because Houston with Dwight is a contender team and Jeremy will benefit greatly from the experience.

Jeremy Lin Needs To Go

Houston hasn't really been good to Jeremy Lin. Yes, they offered him a big contract to come to Houston but that's the owner talking. Remember, Morey and McHale traded Jeremy the last time he was in Houston because they didn't want him there.

Now with Dwight Howard in the team, the Rockets doesn't really need Jeremy Lin. All they need is a stable guard that can pass to both Dwight Howard and James Harden. Of course, Jeremy Lin can easily fill that role but he will only be wasting his talent if that's the only thing that he'll do in the team.

Jeremy Lin is an attacking guard that can easily explode and dominate a game. With two dominant players on the team, his role will be reduced to nothing more than someone who feeds the stars the ball. Jeremy Lin needs to go to a team that will use him effectively just like what Coach D'Antoni did in New York.

Isolation Plays Will Rule Houston

An article quoted Nash saying that Dwight Howard didn't want to do Pick And Roll. This is a bad indication specially for Jeremy Lin because Jeremy Lin is great in Pick And Roll plays. If Dwight Howard doesn't want to do Pick And Roll plays anymore then his only other option is doing Post Up plays.

With James Harden doing his Isolation plays on top and Dwight Howard with his Post Up plays inside, the new Houston Rockers team doesn't really need Jeremy Lin. All they need is a guard like Beverly who can properly drop the ball to both Howard's and James' hands.

Should Jeremy Lin Stay In Houston?

Unfortunately, whether Jeremy Lin stays or not in Houston is all up to Morey and company. Morey said that Jeremy Lin is a good fit to Dwight because Jeremy Lin is an attacking guard but Morey could be saying that just to make Jeremy Lin look good and boost his trade value.

Houston never really wanted Jeremy Lin and if Jeremy Lin is traded then it's not really surprising anymore. If he doesn't get traded then that's going to be a surprise. In any case, a lot of people will still admire and follow Jeremy Lin wherever he go.

Michael Jordan Returns To The NBA At 50 Years Old

Wow! His Airness, Michael Jordan, returning to the NBA will definitely shock the entire world. What am I saying? Michael Jordan is already 50 years old. Can he still play basketball as a professional player? I have no freaking idea but I keep hearing about it. I've also read a lot of articles online about a possible Michael Jordan return.

Michael Jordan Made Me Watched The NBA

I do love basketball and I enjoy playing it but I was never a fan of the NBA. Michael Jordan changed that when I saw him take flight in his first Slam Dunk contest. Even though, Dominique won that Slam Dunk contest but Air Jordan made me a fan of Michael, the Chicago Bulls and the NBA.

Seriously, the only games that I watched in the NBA were Chicago Bulls games. When he retired the second time and came back wearing a Wizards jersey, I also went back and watched most (not all) of his games as a Wizard. After his third retirement, I rarely watched the NBA anymore.

Obviously, if Michael Jordan returns to play in the NBA again at his age of 50 then I'll definitely return with him and watch him again. I don't care which team he plays with as long as he is playing, even if he's just a bench warmer, I'll still watch all his games.

Will Michael Jordan Really Return To The NBA?

I have no idea if he's really going to return as an active professional basketball player in the NBA or not but he did say that he might return during his Hall Of Fame speech a few years ago. Now that he is 50, many news and sports sites are writing and speculating about a potential return of his Airness to active player status.

Of course, everything I am reading right now are only speculations and rumors. Michael Jordan hasn't said anything about it yet but he also hasn't denied or confirmed anything as well. All I know right now is the fact that he is training to reduce his weight down to 218 pounds.

According to various online sources, 218 pounds is his playing weight. Does it mean that he is really planning on playing again in the NBA? Of course not. Maybe he just wants to lose weight for health reasons or maybe he just wants to look good and look young for his girlfriend. It doesn't automatically means that he'll return to the NBA as an active player.

Should Michael Jordan Return To The NBA?

As a big fan of Michael Jordan, I want him to return and play again in the NBA. Call me selfish but Michael Jordan back in the NBA will definitely make the organization and the games interesting again. He doesn't need to play 42 minutes nor score 20 points per game. His presence alone is enough to revitalize the team he'll play for. In fact, some are saying that Michael Jordan is still better than half the players who are currently in the NBA today.

Obviously, some people will disagree with me. They'll say that Michael Jordan is already to old to play at a professional level. My question is, do they know Michael Jordan's body? Are they Michael Jordan? The truth is, only Michael Jordan, his trainers and his doctors have the real say on the matter. If Michael Jordan feels he can play and his trainers and doctors say he can then who are we to stop him?

The Greatest Of All Time

Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time and that will never change for me. Playing in the NBA again at 50 will never tarnish his legacy because it's already established. That was Michael Jordan in his prime. Expecting him to perform or play like he is 20 or 30 is ridiculous.

By the way, the Philippines Living Legend of Basketball, Robert Jaworski, was already 50 when he played his last game in March 1997. He is the oldest player to ever played in the PBA at 50 years old.

So, playing at 50 is possible and there is no doubt in my mind that Michael Jordan, The Greatest Of All Time, can still play the game. Will he make a return to the NBA? Unfortunately, only his Airness knows the answer to that question.

Jeremy Lin's Winning Streak, Is It Finally Over?

Wow! The last time I followed nor watched an NBA game was when Michael Jordan was still playing for the Washington Wizards. Last week, the NBA had a break-out superstar and he is neither black or white.

(Image Credit: NBA, Jeremy Lin, New York Knicks and New Orleans Hornets)

He is none other than Taiwanese-American Jeremy Lin and he led the New York Knicks to 7 consecutive victories before losing against New Orleans in a very close game. Is the Jeremy Lin magic over? Of course not.

In their game against New Orleans, New York trailed all the way. They were able to close the gap a few times but it wasn't enough to catch-up. In the last minutes of the fourth quarter, New York got a few breaks but New Orleans was able to hold on to the lead and win.

(New Orleans Hornets beat Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks, 89-85)

The lost against New Orleans stopped Jeremy Lin's winning streak but getting 7 wins in a row is already a big accomplishment. Besides, losing a game is nothing to worry about. As long as they are getting more wins than loses then losing one or two games is fine.

I'm not really rooting for any NBA team but I'm very much interested with the New York Knicks and Jeremy Lin right now. I guess I'm just curious to know how far this team can ride on Jeremy Lin's success and how long can Jeremy Lin handle it.

Superstars carry huge burdens. Once you are tagged with it, people will start expecting a lot of things from you and some athletes can't handle it. Those who overcame it became more than just Superstars, they became Legends.

Anyway, Jeremy Lin's winning streak is over and, hopefully, it doesn't turn into a losing streak because it will suck big time if that happens.

Update: Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks just defeated the defending champion, Dallas Mavericks, 104-97 at Madison Square Garde putting the Knicks back in the winning track.
