This is my fourth blog post for today and it is about 10 Random Things About Me. I'm going to make it as random as possible but I must admit some of it are not totally random.
One of its problems is, some Comment Exchange participants don't even read what you've posted. They'll just base their comments on the title of your post and you will eventually end up with an out-of-topic or an off-topic comment.
Unfortunately, the first month turned out badly because SpeedySparrow.com's servers went down hard. It took them days before they could restore everything back to normal.
This winter of 2012 has some interesting and fun animes to watch. See what I'm currently watching and following. If you like then you can also watch them too.
LOCKDOWN! Yeah! If you're a Pro-Wrestling fan then you'll know what I'm talking about. Of course, if you're a Sports Entertainment fan then it's okay if you don't. Ha ha ha!
TNA Wrestling Lockdown 2014 will happen this coming Sunday and, unlike Genesis, Lockdown is going to be a true PPV (Par-Per-View). People will need to pay for it to watch it and if you're a pro-wrestling fan, it's worth it because you know you'll get some nice wrestling matches (unlike that other company, lol).
For those who don't know, every match in TNA Lockdown is a Cage Match with Lethal Lockdown as the main highlight of the night.
Anyway, if you can't afford to pay for TNA Lockdown 2014 PPV there here are some tips on how and where you can watch it for FREE!
Watch it with your friend. If you have a friend who'll order it then just go over his place and watch it for free.
Watch it in your neighbor's house. If you have a neighbor who'll order it then kiss his ass and watch it over his place.
Watch it in a Bar or Restaurant. Some bars and restaurants order Pay-Per-View shows for their customers. For example, BruceBlitzed watches WWE PPV's in a restaurant or something similar. Pay for the food and get to watch the PPV for free.
Watch it online. This is the easiest route to take because you don't have to go anywhere. There are websites out there that will stream TNA Lockdown 2014 PPV and you can watch it from there for free. Unfortunately, I won't put a link in this post but you can always use Google and do some searching.
The reason why TNA Lockdown 2014 PPV is going to be great is, the matches. Yes, the matches scheduled in this event is awesome. Just see them for yourself below.

My favorite Pro Wrestling channel in YouTube is BruceBlitzed. Not because he hates John Cena and WWE, it's because the RAW and TNA Reviews Bruce and company puts out are extremely entertaining and funny to watch.
In yesterday's RAW Review, the main topic of interest was John Cena. Bruce, Mad Genius and Jay were arguing in the start of the show whether John Cena worked a decent match against Antonio Cesaro or not.
To my surprise, Mad Genius was defending John Cena's performance like his life depended on it and Bruce was holding and defending his own argument that John Cena sucked in the match.
Jay was not defending John Cena but he was defending the fact that the match was decent. His argument was, the match was decent because Antonio Cesaro carried John Cena like a baby in the entirety of the match.
In my opinion (and this is just my opinion after hesitantly watching the match between the two), John Cena wrestled a decent match BUT it was not because of his efforts. I agree with Jay that the match became decent or watchable because Antonio Cesaro carried the match.
John Cena was only a prop in the ring that Antonio Cesaro used to put on a decent show for the people who tuned in and bought tickets to watch. To be fair to Cena, he did not botch many of his moves although most of them were slow as a turtle and looked extremely rehearsed.
I agree with Mad Genius that John Cena worked a decent match but it was all because of Antonio Cesaro's efforts. WWE gave Antonio Cesaro a lot of time in the match to make John Cena look good in the ring and Antonio Cesaro was successful in doing it.

As a blogger from Laguna, this particular issue grabbed my interest. I first learned about this "so called" Laguna Blogging Summit Scandal at Filipino Bloggers Worldwide or FBW. FBW is a group in facebook composed of Filipino Bloggers from all over the World hence the name Filipino Bloggers Worldwide.
The scandal involved MONEY and, when money is involved, good things can turn ugly. According to the FBW thread, money from a particular sponsor was never given to the organizers of 2LaBS (Laguna Blogging Summit). From what I've read in FBW, the person who received the money from the sponsor lent it to a friend who promised to repay it immediately. Unfortunately, the payment never came.
Here is a quote from one of the post in FBW.
I made the wrong decision of lending the money to a friend in need who promised to repay me before 2LaBS starts. I allowed my feelings to decide. Unfortunately, the person has no way of repaying me yet so I'm stuck with nothing to surrender to 2LaBS. (Read the entire thread at FBW)
Now, in an interview posted by TALK.PH. It was said that the money was given to a co-organizer who had a personal emergency and this co-organizer used the money to settle or resolve whatever this personal emegency was.
Here is a quote from the interview in TALK.PH.
I also told them that I surrendered it to a co-organizer who didn’t reported it and used it for a personal emergency. As a friend, I am allowing that person to take the initiative to come clean and reveal the identity when able to return the money. (Read the entire interview at TALK.PH)
The two quoted messages above kinda confused me because they're different from each other. My guess is (this is just a guess), the friend mentioned in the FBW post was also the co-organizer mentioned in the TALK.PH interview, right? Now, if it's the same then why was "lending" changed to "surrendered"?
In the FBW post, the money was "lent" to a friend. In the TALK.PH interview, the money was "surrendered" to a co-organizer. Are they referring to the same MONEY and the same FRIEND?
Anyway, if this wasn't posted in FBW then I would've never learned about it and, as a blogger from Laguna, I'm kinda sad that this issue or Laguna Blogging Summit Scandal happened because it doesn't help anyone.
Hopefully, those involved will be able to resolve this issue quickly and amicably because dragging it longer will only make it worst. If someone needs to apologize then do it but do it with sincerity. Filipinos are very forgiving people.

As for me, I have no plans in watching WWE Hell In A Cell 2013 Pay Per View either PAID or FREE. I've been a pro-wrestling fan since the 1980s but WWE doesn't interest me anymore. These days, I get my pro-wrestling fix by watching TNA Impact Wrestling.
Overall, this year's Bound For Glory wasn't spectacular. All the undercard matches were watered down but it was watered down by design. This year's Bound For Glory was all about the main event match between AJ Styles and Bully Ray.
The main event was a no disqualification and no count-out match. If you look at it, this type of match works in favor of Bully Ray. Besides, Bully Ray can only work matches that are hardcore in nature. He is not a very technical wrestler but he is a good worker and knows how to bump like crazy.
Remember, professional wrestling isn't real but the bumps these pro-wrestlers take are very, very real. One wrong move, one mistake and it's over for them. In this event alone, James Storm accidentally cut his thigh and was bleeding throughout the match. Kurt Angle did a move on the top rope but landed badly and was seriously hurt by it.
In the main event, AJ Styles took all the chops from Bully Ray and suffered some injuries from it. Also, in this match, AJ Styles performed a 450 splash from the top rope but missed Bully Ray and landed on the official's table. It was an awesome sight to see but it was extremely dangerous too. If he miscalculated his landing then he could be gone for good.
Bully Ray exposing the wooden board of the ring is also a very dangerous move. Wrestling rings are cushioned for a reason and that's to prevent injuries. Bully Ray removed that cushion and if a mistake happened on that part of the ring then it could result to injury, even death.
Anyway, the main event of this year's Bound For Glory made the event worth watching. AJ Styles was booked extremely strong and, because of that, he is now the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Congratulations to AJ Styles, kudos to Bully Ray for putting AJ Styles over and congratulations to TNA for a very good Bound For Glory.
I don't exactly follow the local entertainment or showbiz news but I was surprised to learn that one of my favorite performers from Eat Bulaga, Wally Bayola, has gotten himself into trouble. What kind of trouble? Well, the kind of trouble that spreads like a virus in just a few minutes, a Sex Video or Sex Scandal.
When I heard about it from my wife, I immediately went online and searched the internet for "Wally Bayola and EB Babe Yosh Sex Video". I searched for it because I wanted to see for myself if the guy in this so called Wally Bayola EB Babe Yosh Sex Video was indeed Wally Bayola.
From what I've heard, the video was uploaded to YouTube but, since it's practically porn, it won't last long in YouTube. Unfortunately for Wally Bayola and EB Babe Yosh, a lot of people had already downloaded it and uploaded it to various video sharing websites.
Sex videos or sex scandal videos like this one, when uploaded to the internet will forever remain in the internet for everyone in the world to see. That's just how the internet works. Even if YouTube deleted the video, it will just appear on another video sharing website.
My search for Wally Bayola and EB Babe Yosh Sex Video lead me to an adult video sharing website. I was able to watch it from there along with a few of my neighbors who were also interested in seeing the video. Seriously, I should have asked for an entrance fee.
From what I've seen in this so called Wally Bayola and EB Babe Yosh Sex Video, the guy kinda did look like Wally Bayola but I couldn't tell for sure because the video wasn't all that clear. As for the girl, I tried to compare the girl's face in the video with a picture of EB Babe Yosh and they kinda look the same too but, again, it's very hard to tell.
Anyway, I'm not an expert in facial recognition so I'll just safely say that, just from the video alone, I'm not 100% sure if the guy was Wally Bayola or not. What about you? PLDT's MyBRO or SmartBRO's Fair Usage Policy sucks!
Last night, I was downloading at 200kbps but, when I woke up this morning, my download speed dropped down to 20kbps and it sucks. The good news is, it's already the last day of the month and, that means, I'll get back my normal download speed of 200kbps tomorrow.
It still sucks though because I'll have to endure this extremely slow internet speed for an entire day. Now, that's an entire day of slow YouTube viewing, slow GMail access, slow Blogger access, slow Facebook access, etc. In other words, it's an entire day of slow internet browsing.
Yes, PLDT's MyBRO or SmartBRO's Fair Usage Policy sucks!
Throttled Down My Internet Speed
Last month, PLDT's MyBRO or SmartBRO throttled down my internet speed in the first week of the month. It was freaking insane because it was too freaking early. It was also an indication that the limit was extremely low. I have no idea what the number is but some people are claiming that they have reached almost 60GB of downloaded data before they were throttled down by PLDT's MyBRO or SmartBRO.
This month, it took PLDT's MyBRO or SmartBRO almost an entire month to throttle down my internet speed which was great but it doesn't mean it sucks less. As long as PLDT's MyBRO or SmartBRO has this un-Fair Usage Policy in effect, it will forever suck and, the only thing that will change that is, if they'll reconsider removing it or even updating it to the satisfaction of their paying customers.
0.20Mbps Is Too Freaking Low
0.20Mbps is too freaking low. In fact, it's so low that it takes me up to 10 minutes just to open my Gmail account. If PLDT can't or is unwilling to remove this un-Fair Usage Policy that they suddenly imposed on their loyal and paying subscribers then they should at least increase it to 0.80Mbps for those with a 2Mbps plan.
We are paying subscribers! Seriously! They're too incompetent to catch all these illegal connections that are congesting their network and, what do they do, they punish us paying subscribers. Put a stop to all illegal connections and that will free a ton of traffic from your network.
Honestly, what PLDT is doing is, it's forcing its subscribers to drop their subscriptions and opt to connect illegally. This is currently happening because why would people pay when they can connect illegally specially now that PLDT chose to burden its subscribers with this un-Fair Usage Policy.
Say NO To PLDT's MyBRO/SmartBRO Un-Fair Usage Policy
To PLDT, don't punish your subscribers with this un-Fair Usage Policy. If you truly want to free your network from congestion then you should go after illegal connections instead. If not then you're only forcing them to drop their subscriptions and connect illegally as well.
WTF! I watched the Grand Finals of Super Sireyna last Saturday and, although Super Sireyna Queen of Tourism Marian Rivera didn't win, I was happy with the winner because he gave a very good answer. I was disappointed because my bet didn't win but I enjoyed watching the entire show.

Today, someone told me that the Grand Winner or Queen of Queens of Super Sireyna, Queen of the Jungle Kim Chiu, has nude pictures himself posted in the internet. I immediately googled "super sireyna nude pictures" and, guest what, the result that I got from my search did show nude pictures of the Super Sireyna Queen of Queens.
Of course, my google search also showed, not only pictures, articles or blog posts from various Philippine Entertainment websites, portals, forums and blogs that talked about the scandalous pictures. Some of these blog posts or articles mentioned something about dethroning her of her Queen of Queen Title.
Well, my opinion about this issue is, if they can prove that those pictures are real and not photoshopped or faked then I think they should but, until then, I think people shouldn't jump into conclusions. Remember, we are in the digital age where everything can be faked.
Not to mention the fact that the person in the picture or pictures can also be just a look-a-like of Kim Chiu. Remember, the Super Sireyna Queen of Queen was nicknamed Kim Chiu because of his facial resemblance to the actress. Obviously, he is not the only Kim Chiu look-a-like out there.
Anyway, my point is, until it's proven that it was him in the nude pictures, everyone should just stay cool and get off his back because the truth always reveals itself in the end.
By the way, I'm not defending the guy specially when he's not even my bet in the contest. LOL! It's just that the over-reaction of some people in the internet is amazing. Let's just wait and see what happens next.
With Dwight Howard signing with Houston Rockets, the possibility of Jeremy Lin getting traded to another team is very high because Houston will need the cap space. Is this good or bad for Jeremy? It's good because Jeremy might get traded to a team that will use him properly. It's bad because Houston with Dwight is a contender team and Jeremy will benefit greatly from the experience.
Jeremy Lin Needs To Go
Houston hasn't really been good to Jeremy Lin. Yes, they offered him a big contract to come to Houston but that's the owner talking. Remember, Morey and McHale traded Jeremy the last time he was in Houston because they didn't want him there.

Now with Dwight Howard in the team, the Rockets doesn't really need Jeremy Lin. All they need is a stable guard that can pass to both Dwight Howard and James Harden. Of course, Jeremy Lin can easily fill that role but he will only be wasting his talent if that's the only thing that he'll do in the team.
Jeremy Lin is an attacking guard that can easily explode and dominate a game. With two dominant players on the team, his role will be reduced to nothing more than someone who feeds the stars the ball. Jeremy Lin needs to go to a team that will use him effectively just like what Coach D'Antoni did in New York.
With James Harden doing his Isolation plays on top and Dwight Howard with his Post Up plays inside, the new Houston Rockers team doesn't really need Jeremy Lin. All they need is a guard like Beverly who can properly drop the ball to both Howard's and James' hands.
Should Jeremy Lin Stay In Houston?
Unfortunately, whether Jeremy Lin stays or not in Houston is all up to Morey and company. Morey said that Jeremy Lin is a good fit to Dwight because Jeremy Lin is an attacking guard but Morey could be saying that just to make Jeremy Lin look good and boost his trade value.
Houston never really wanted Jeremy Lin and if Jeremy Lin is traded then it's not really surprising anymore. If he doesn't get traded then that's going to be a surprise. In any case, a lot of people will still admire and follow Jeremy Lin wherever he go.
Many months ago, my internet connection speed suddenly became extremely slow. It was so freaking slow that it can't even open or load my GMail account. I checked my internet connection speed at SpeedTest.net and it was crawling like a turtle.

I contacted my ISP's Customer Care Hotline and talked to a Customer Service Representative or CSR. I explained my problem and the CSR gave a series of instructions that I performed on my computer. These instructions involved unplugging my Canopy's adapter for 10 seconds and plugging it back in.
Unfortunately, the instructions given by the CSR didn't fix my slow internet connection. The CSR scheduled me for a visit by their Technicians but it would take their Technicians a week to arrive at my door because of their busy schedule.
No Work Means No Money
My current work involves downloading high-res images from my client's Dropbox, processing these images and uploading them back again. This cycle uses a lot of bandwidth and it requires a fast internet connection because, downloading high-res images will take many hours with a slow internet connection.
Unfortunately, working with a slow internet connection was impossible because the client wanted the images back the same day and that was impossible. Just downloading the images was already using up a lot of time and I still had to work on them before I could upload them back.
Thank God For Globe
While waiting for my ISP's technicians to arrive. Outside our home, Globe technicians were installing new Globe Tattoo DSL lines. These new lines were for my neighbors. I asked one of the technicians about Globe Tattoo but, instead of answering, he asked me to wait while he went to get someone who could explain it better to me.
A girl arrived and she explained to me Globe Tattoo's DSL Internet Service Plans. She kept on insisting that I sign-up that day because the technicians would install it immediately. It didn't take her much to convince me to sign-up because my ISP at that time was delivering an extremely poor service.
Signed Up For Globe Tattoo DSL 1Mbps
I signed-up and the Globe technicians immediately installed my Globe Tattoo 1Mbps DSL internet connection. It came with a free landline phone but I wasn't really interested with it. I just wanted to get a good internet connection so that I could continue working.
Thanks to my 1Mbps Globe Tattoo DSL connection. I was able to work without worrying about having a slow internet connection. I got to download my client's images quickly, work on them and upload the final images back the same day.
With Globe's fast DSL installation and good internet connection speed, I was able to complete my work on time and that's why I'm Glad To Be Globe.

The next movie in Marvel's Cinematic Universe after Iron Man 3 is Thor 2 but I'm going to skip Thor 2 and move forward to Captain America 2: Winter Soldier. Why? Because, Captain America is more interesting than Thor period.

Don't get me wrong, I like Thor but I just don't find him interesting enough specially when the events of Thor 2 will happen mostly in Asgard. Will I watch Thor 2 when it comes out? Of course, because I love superhero movies. ^_^
Captain America's New Costume
Let's forget about Thor and Thor 2 and let's focus on Captain America 2: Winter Soldier and his new Secret Avengers' based costume. I've never heard of the Secret Avengers comic books but I'm really glad that it existed because I'll get to see a different style to Captain America's costume (see picture below).
Cap's new costume for Captain America 2 is darker. It still has the famous red, white and blue colors but they're darker. The blue is darker, the red is darker and the white is kinda silvery or metallic. It also has that tougher and sturdier look and feel to it. Much like the one he wore in the first movie, Captain America: First Avenger.
What I Think About The New Costume?
Simply said, I like Captain America's new costume. The design is more modern and it looks sturdier. It has that military appeal to it but still look very heroic. It also clearly conveys that Captain America is an Agent of SHIELD.

Man Of Steel is about an alien from the dying planet of Kypton who was saved by his mother and father from death by sending him here to Earth. This alien was raised by human parents and grew-up as a human in a small town in Kansas.
He eventually learned the truth about himself and went on a journey of re-discovery. He found his true self, embraced it but forced to reveal it when he was faced with adversity. He proved that he was more human than alien by protecting his adopted planet and he was accepted as one.
That was the movie, Man Of Steel.
The Good
The things that I liked about Man Of Steel are the following:
Krypton
General Zod
Jor-El
Destruction
Special Effects
Krypton
Krypton in Man Of Steel is very different from the Crystallized or Icy Planet depicted in previous Superman Movies. Yes, Krypton had an extreme or harsh environment but it was teeming with life. It felt like a living planet and it was shown in the movie as such.
Also, Krypton's red star didn't destroy the planet. The planet destroyed itself when it imploded because the Kryptonians abused it by harnessing its core as a source of energy. Jor-El knew it but the council didn't listen to his warnings which forced him to send his son, Kal-El, to Earth without the council's approval.
General Zod
General Zod is a true General in Man Of Steel because he has an actual army under his command. In Superman 2, General Zod only had two minions with him but it was enough to cause Superman and Metropolis grief.
In Man Of Steel, General Zod didn't only caused grief. He leveled a big section of the city. His terraforming ships toppled numerous buildings and his battle against Superman damaged and destroyed a few more.
Jor-El
Jor-El was never depicted as a warrior in the old Superman movies but, in Man Of Steel, he wore a really cool looking suit and went toe-to-toe with General Zod. He also had a ton of action sequences never before seen in previous Superman movies.
Unfortunately, Jor-El died in the hands of General Zod. He was caught off-guard by the General when Kal-El's ship was launching. The General took advantage and stabbed him with a blade which killed him but Jor-El's presence didn't end there.
Jor-El returned as a holographic figure that helped Kal-El know the truth about himself.
Destruction
The amount of Destruction displayed in Man Of Steel was appropriate for a movie based on super-beings fighting each other. Superman's fight against the Kryptonians toppled buildings, blew-up cars, demolished structures, took down jet fighters, etc. In other words, they destroyed everything.
The Bad
I've listed and talked about the things that I liked in Man Of Steel. Now, I'll list the things that I didn't like about it below:

Superman's Costume

Shaky Cam
Man Of Steel used the Shaky Cam technique and the movie used it a lot. In fact, the entire movie was shaking from start to finish. I have no problems with the Shaky Cam if used during action sequences because it kinda makes the action more action-packed.
Unfortunately, Man Of Steel used this Shaky Cam technique on everything. From two people talking to Superman flying. It was so overused that it made my head hurt early in the movie. If you have an issue or problem with this technique then you might not enjoy Man Of Steel.
Flashbacks
I liked how Man Of Steel started but when Kal-El's ship fell on Earth the movie switched into Flashback mode. Flashbacks are used to better explain or tell a story because it shows events that happened in the past that affected the main character in the present or even the future.
In Man Of Steel, the movie kept on jumping back and forth. There were too much jumping around in the story's timeline that it made the movie feel disconnected. The story didn't flow naturally for me.
Superman's Costume
Well, they needed to update Superman's Costume but I felt it was too dark specially for a superhero like Superman. I liked what they did with the 'S' on his chest because it was modernized but it didn't really stand out for me. It was lost in the darkness and dullness of the costume.

As you can see from the picture above, the one on the right looked much better than the one on the left. The color of the costume on the left was just DULL and boring while the one on the right was screaming with excitement and fun.
Boring
Yes, Man Of Steel was boring. I can say it was boring because the kids who were watching it in the theater were very, very silent. I think many of them fell asleep. Well, my wife fell asleep three times and I kinda broke a yawn a couple of times.
When the movie ended, I felt an air of disappointment from the people who were walking out of the theater. There was no buzz and the atmosphere was kinda gloomy.
Forgettable
The Avengers and Iron Man 3 had tons of unforgettable moments or scenes in their respective movies. In Man Of Steel, there was none. Nothing really popped-out.
Yes, Man Of Steel had tons of action scenes but none of them stood out. They weren't even exciting nor fun to watch because I've seen them all before.
For example, one of the best scenes in Superman Returns was the airplane scene. The entire sequence was great and it was exciting to watch. Man Of Steel had none like that.
The fight between General Zod and Superman was great but it didn't excite because I've seen such fights in other superhero movies before. Well, they did make Superman kill General Zod in the end but that wasn't exciting at all.
Was It Good Or Was It Bad?
Honestly, Man Of Steel falls under the "Just Okay" category. It wasn't exciting but it wasn't extremely bad and, for a superhero movie, it fell short specially if you compare it with The Avengers.
The movie had no exciting nor memorable moments which made the movie very forgettable. It did have a lot of action scenes and the special effects were great but it wasn't enough to carry Man Of Steel into greatness because it didn't excite and it didn't entertain.
Was Man Of Steel a good or bad movie? To answer that question, as I was walking out of the theater after watching Iron Man 3 and The Avengers, I wanted to watch both movies again and again BUT that feeling or urge never came to me after watching Man Of Steel. I just wanted to go home after watching it.
If you want to watch Man Of Steel but you also don't want to waste your money then just wait a few more weeks and just rent it on DVD.

I'm not a fan of Vice Ganda and I'm also not a big fan of his style of humor but I think it's time for everyone to stop attacking him. Yes, he did make a mistake but he already apologized for it. He learned his lesson and, hopefully, he'll never used rape as a material for his jokes in the future.
Everyone Makes Mistakes
I make mistakes, you make mistakes, everyone makes mistakes because no one in this world is perfect. If we make a mistake then we must recognize it, admit to it and apologize for it. Did Vice Ganda recognized his mistake? I think he did. Did he admit it? I think so. Did he apologized for it? Yes.
(Bubble Gang and GMA 7 also made a mistake when they allowed this rape gag to be aired on national television.)
Mistakes make us human. Mistakes also make us grow into better human beings because we learn from our mistakes. Did Vice Ganda learned from his mistake? I think so because, underneath that comic persona is a very intelligent individual. He definitely learned something from this issue. Who wouldn't?
Bubble Gang Rape Jokes
As I've said, everyone makes mistakes and the same is true for GMA 7 and its Bubble Gang gag show. In the past, Bubble Gang had used rape as a material in its gags as well (see video below).
Was it a mistake for GMA 7 and Bubble Gang to air such an insensitive gag? Yes. Did they learned from it? Yes, because they stopped using rape as a material for their gags.
Bubble Gang and GMA 7 were very lucky because, when they did these rape jokes, the country didn't react to it as much as it did with the Vice Ganda Rape Joke.
Forgive And Move On
Vice Ganda already made a public apology and I believe it was sincere enough to merit forgiveness from everyone whom he offended. Forgive and move on, that's the best thing everyone can do right now.
A few days ago, my computer suddenly started doing weird things like having random BSODs, extreme slow downs, freezing and hang-ups. Having these problems were very frustrating and annoying specially when I was doing or finishing a lot of work for a client.
I tried to troubleshoot what caused the problems using various internet tools and programs but I didn't get any good results. In the end, I decided to re-format my hard disk and re-install my Operating System.
After re-formatting my hard disk and re-installing my operating system, my computer was still experiencing some extreme slow downs.
Bad Sectors Found
When I troubleshot my computer for problems or errors before, I didn't perform a Check Disk (chkdsk) on my hard disk because the built-in S.M.A.R.T. indicator said it was still healthy. I guess my hard disk is still generally healthy because Check Disk only found 164 KB of bad sectors in my System Drive.
It was very stupid of me to not perform a Check Disk first before re-formatting hard disk and re-installing my operating system. If I had then I wouldn't had wasted a lot of time re-installing everything back. LOL!
My computer was slowing down drastically because it was reading files written on bad sectors of the hard disk. Check Disk fixed it by moving those files out of the bad sectors and marking these sectors as bad to make them unwritable anymore.
Bad Sectors = Dying Hard Disk
My hard disk is only 3 years old. Knowing that it already has bad sectors is very surprising for me because my 10 year old 40 GB Seagate hard disk hasn't had any yet and I'm still using it as an external hard disk for back-ups.
From what I've read in the internet, having bad sectors in a hard disk means that the hard disk is dying or it's about to fail. It's like a symptom and the only real solution is to replace it with a new one but I can't replace it right now because I'm dead broke.
I was expecting money from Bubblews.com but it's currently ignoring all my request for payment. If I was paid by Bubblews.com for my four redemptions then I would have had enough money to buy a new hard disk.
A New Hard Disk
My current hard disk is a 500GB Western Digital Caviar but, for my new hard disk, I was thinking of getting a 1 TB hard disk like the one below.
Of course, I will still shop around for a better hard disk once I have enough money to buy a new one but if I can't find anything better that will fit my budget then I might have to get this one.
American Chopper was one of my favorite shows in Discovery Channel but I only started watching it when Junior separated with his father, Senior. I've known about the show even before the split but, for some reason, I just didn't enjoy seeing Senior on the show.
When they split and Paul Jr. started Paul Jr. Designs, that was when I started watching American Chopper but only Paul Jr.'s part of the show. I never bothered with the Orange Country Chopper's part of it. In fact, I remember changing channel every time OCC or Senior was on.
Missing Paul Jr. And His Bikes
Paul Jr.'s Custom Theme Bikes are awesome and the way he builds them is simply amazing because he builds them on the fly without drawings, blueprints or schematics. All the bikes he built in the show came out of his head spontaneously.
With Paul Jr., all the bikes he built were a surprise and that's what I enjoy about his process. It's not a very efficient and cost effective way of building a bike but it was definitely exciting and enjoyable to watch.
OCC's building process was more efficient and cost effective but it wasn't exciting because everyone already knew what the bike would look like even before they started building it.
Paul Jr. Will Return To Television Soon
Yes, I was very happy when I learned about it. This news about Paul Jr. returning to television first appeared on Design By Joyce's Paul Jr. Fan Page.
According to the posted news, Paul Jr. was working with a production company called Gurney Productions. A few of its popular television shows are Duck Dynasty, Auction Hunters and American Guns. All of which are unfamiliar to me. LOL!
In any case, Paul Jr. and Paul Jr. Designs returning to television is a very exciting news for all the fans of PJD. I want to see him and his team create new, exciting and amazing Custom Theme Bikes that are both jaw dropping and mind blowing.
A few months ago, I dialed *1888 on my Android Phone. It connected me to SmartBRO's Customer Service Hotline where I was able to talk to a Customer Service Representative (CSR). The reason why I wanted to talk to a SmartBRO CSR was to ask one question and that question was, "does SmartBRO has a monthly bandwidth limit"?
The CSR gave me a quick and simple answer and the answer that was given to me was, "NO"!
Last week, my internet connection speed suddenly became extremely slow. I didn't took notice of it because SmartBRO likes to perform unscheduled updates or maintenance to their system.
Yesterday, my internet connection speed was still very, very slow so I decided to contact SmartBRO's Customer Service Hotline. After pressing all these buttons, the last thing that I heard was a recorded message that said something like, "Good day. You've reached your allowable volume usage for this month. For more information about MyBRO's Fair Usage Policy please visit http://pldthome.com/mybrofup".
I can't remember the exact words but I think it's close enough.
I was very, very surprised to hear the recorded message because it mentioned "allowable volume usage". What the hell is this allowable volume usage? Well, it has something to do with bandwidth limits and, as far as I know, SmartBRO doesn't limit bandwidth use and, when I asked a CSR about it, the answer given to me was NO.
I tried many, many times to talk to a SmartBRO CSR but the option to talk to one of them was no longer available in the Customer Service Hotline. I tried all the options but none of them connected me to a living and breathing CSR.
Today, I went to a nearby Smart Office and complained about it. The person I talked to confirmed the newly implemented Fair Usage Policy but, when I asked about my monthly allowable volume limit or monthly bandwidth limit, the answer I got was very unsatisfactory.
I went home dissatisfied because I never got any information about my monthly allowable volume or bandwidth limit from Smart. For some reason, the staff or people handling the customers complaints and problems have no idea as well.
To find out SmartBRO's newly implemented allowable volume usage or bandwidth limit, I search Google and found it. According to this post titled Smart Bro Canopy (myBro) Slow Connection (2013), SmartBRO's monthly bandwidth allocation per user is only 15GB. WTF!
15GB a month is very, very small. If you look at closely then Globe Tattoo's 3GB/5GB daily bandwidth allocation is much, much better compared to SmartBRO. Seriously, if Globe can offer their subscribers 5GB daily then why can't SmartBRO or MyBRO offer us something much better. Better yet, why even implement this Fair Usage Policy when SmartBRO existed without it for many, many years.
I don't mind having this Fair Usage Policy but SmartBRO or MyBRO should at least make it fair for everyone specially the old subscribers like me. 15GB a month is extremely small. They should at least offer us something like 8GB - 12GB a day not this ridiculous15GB a month.
Yes, Iron Man 3 is simply an awesome superhero movie. Marvel did it again. They took the Iron Man and Tony Stark characters and made a really enjoyable and action-packed movie from it. It's not exactly the same as the comic books but who cares. It's a movie, not a comic book.
In this movie, Tony Stark had a new Iron Man armor, MK 42, and it's the best one yet because he can remotely control it. It also breaks into several pieces which makes it very mobile and he can wear it anywhere, anytime.
The new villain is The Mandarin and he is spreading terror all over the globe specially in the United States of America. Col. James Rhodes, using the Iron Patriot Armor, was tasked to subdue and eliminate the Mandarin's reign of terror.
Here are some of the things that pops up into my mind after watching one of the best Superhero Movie ever made, Iron Man 3.
War Machine Is Iron Patriot
War Machine appeared in Iron Man 2. It was kinda stolen by his friend James Rhodes and was weaponized by Hammer Industries.
In Iron Man 3, War Machine is back but with a new paint job and a new name. Instead of War Machine, it's now called the Iron Patriot.
In the comic books, the Iron Patriot armor was first worn by Norman Osborne but in the Iron Man 3 movie it was worn by, at least three people, James Rhodes, the President of the United States of America and one of Mandarin's or Aldrich Killian's goons.
The Mandarin Was A Joke But He Was Awesome
The Mandarin in Iron Man 3 is not the same as the Mandarin in the Comic Books. In the Comic Books, he is a bad-ass Super Villain that uses the power of the Ten Rings. He is a genius with amazing martial arts skills.
In the Iron Man 3 movie, the Mandarin is a clown. He is an actor paid by Aldrich Killian of AIM to play the role of the Mandarin. He was simply an old man playing a role and he was very good at it.
Tony Stark stormed the Mandarin's mansion without the Iron Man armor and his encounter with the Mandarin was extremely funny. It was comic gold. Everyone in the theater had a good laugh at Tony Stark and the Mandarin.
The Iron Army Versus The Extremis Army
This was a joy to watch. Super powered human soldiers enhanced by Extremis versus Jarvis controlled Iron Man Armors.
Tony Stark and James Rhodes was outnumbered and out gunned when they went to rescue the President of the United States of America. The two of them alone can't do it. If they want to have a chance at rescuing the President then they'll need an army.
Fortunately, Tony Stark has one. Deep down his laboratory at home, he activated an entire army of Iron Man Armor. They were all controlled by Jarvis and they were fun to watch as they battle the Extremis powered human soldiers of Aldrich Killian.
Iron Man Plays Barrel Of Monkeys
Barrel Of Monkeys is a classic game where you get a monkey from a pile of monkeys by hooking the arms of the other monkeys. The object of the game is to get as much monkeys as you can until one of them falls.
In the Iron Man 3 movie, Iron Man played Barrel Of Monkeys but instead of monkeys he used a group of falling people. Well, Air Force One had a breached and the people in it were sucked out the plane and fell. To save everyone from death, he grabbed one and instructed her to grabbed another falling person.
Using his armor's flying ability and with the help of everyone, he was able to grabbed or hooked all the falling monkeys, err... people, before they fell to their deaths. He then dropped them off in the water safely.
After that, Iron Man was hit by a truck and broke into several pieces. Fortunately, Tony Stark wasn't in the Armor. He was controlling it remotely.
Aldrich Killain Is The Real Mandarin, Stopped By Pepper Potts
Aldrich Killain was a tough cookie to crack. He used Extremis on himself and, because of that, he gained superhuman strength and superhuman healing ability. He can also generate enough heat to melt iron like butter.
Tony Stark had a very hard time fighting him because he was able to rip through Tony Stark's Iron Man armor using the extreme heat that he generates from his arms and body. Tony had to keep on switching from one Iron Man armor to another just to survive his attacks.
Of course, like a true villain, Aldrich Killain, before delivering what seems to be the final offensive to Tony Stark, admitted that he was the real Mandarin. Fortunately, Ms. Pepper Potts, powered by Extremis, was there to stop Aldrich Killain.
Yes, Iron Man didn't stop Aldrich Killain. Ms. Pepper Potts did. She threw a missile at Aldrich Killain and blew it up using a repulsar ray. She was wearing an arm of an Iron Man armor.
Iron Man 3 Is Simply Awesome
In my opinion, Iron Man 3 is an awesome movie experience. I loved it from beginning to end. I wasn't expecting anything when I entered the theater except maybe to get entertained and entertained I was. It also didn't disappoint because I had a lot of fun watching the entire movie.
Of course, if I'm going to nitpick then, obviously, I'll find a lot of things wrong in the movie specially if compared to the comic books but, since this was not a comic book, I'd rather just enjoy it for what it was, an action-packed movie based on Marvel Comic's Iron Man character.
I never got bored watching the movie. It was able to held my attention from start to finish. I had a good laugh and enjoyed all the action-sequences. For that, I'm giving Iron Man 3 a perfect rating of 5 out of 5.

I liked what they did with the costume in the Captain America: First Avenger movie. The costume designers adapted Captain America's costume to fit the movie really well. Captain America still wore the winged costume but only as his marketing or stage costume. His combat costume or uniform has more grit and looks more like a real soldier's uniform.
In The Avengers movie, the costume designers updated Captain America's costume again. I wasn't a big fan of the updated costume but, for some reason, it worked really well in the movie. Besides, it still had the look and feel of the original or Comic Book Captain America costume.
Captain America: Winter Soldier New Costume
In Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain America will again wear a different costume. From what I've seen in the concept art, the new costume is somewhat adapted from the uniforms used by SHIELD Agents. It still has the STAR but it's not what I would call a Stars and Stripes costume anymore.
The color of the costume in the concept art also doesn't match any of Captain America's traditional costume colors. Captain America's costume is mostly blue with white and red but the one in the concept art has a darker color (see screenshot below, image credit: ComicBookMovie.com).
My Favorite Captain America Costume?
Obviously, my favorite Captain America costume or uniform is the Stars and Stripes. The previous Captain America (1990) movie used it and it looked very cheesy but it did match the original. It was also used in Captain America: First Avenger movie but only as a marketing or stage costume for Captain America.
Anyway, if they can update the original costume without changing it too much like what they did in Captain America: First Avenger and The Avengers movie then it will make a lot of fans happy. Of course, a different Captain America costume is welcome too as long as it doesn't look too cheesy.

A few years ago, Ann Curtis made headlines not because of her acting in a movie but because she had an accidental breast exposure during a dance number. Some called it a "nipple slip" but it wasn't just a simple "nipple slip" because her entire chest was exposed to the public.

Well, she's back but this time it didn't involve any of her nipples. Instead, she went lower and exposed her crotch area. I didn't really saw what happened during the actual show because I don't watch any of her shows but I did see it in YouTube.
Honestly, I didn't see anything wrong in the YouTube video of her performance in ASAP. Yes, the slit of her dress was cut too high and I agree that it's a bad example but I didn't see any crotch exposure. Trust me, I watched the YouTube video more than twice.
The only thing that was wrong in that number was her singing. I think the real reason that she showed her long legs in that number was to distract the audience from hearing her shrieking voice. LOL! As far as her crotch getting exposed in public television, there was really nothing shown.
Seriously, I think people are just overacting a lot about this whole crotch exposure issue. Just watch the YouTube video of her performance and you'll see that nothing got exposed (except her shrieking voice).
